ATCL program questions
on: May 19, 2019, 11:54:09 AM
Hello, I'm thinking about preparing for the ATCL exam and wanted some guidance for the program. I'm really interested in the Grieg Sonata Op. 7, but it seems hard to find other pieces to fill out the program in a balanced way. I know I can do a Bach P&F, but I don't know what else I can add.

Since you have Grieg Piano Sonata and a Bach P&F in your programme already, why not add a classical work and/or a post-19th century work to make up the 32-38 minutes playing time requirement?  Alternatively, you have works by a Norwegian composer & a German composer, why not add work(s) by a French composer, an American composer and/or an Australian composer?
