What the buttercups told me
on: September 09, 2019, 10:06:27 AM
I shall post a section once a month for a while to try to breathe some life into the place again. As I usually record around ten sessions a month this presents no difficulty. Thanks to the Virgil Practice Clavier my "pure" finger technique, the sort used in very rapid double notes, has become a lot more fluent which, at seventy-two, has been a happy bonus for me in my later years. The result is that I probably overuse it, but why not ?

Thanks so much for posting..., loved it!  I can imagine the little buttercups saying ‘spring is here, time to wake up and explore’ 😊

Thanks for listening. Most of my titles are just personal nonsense to enable me to remember where, among five hundred or more hours of recordings, a particular musical experience might reside. This one does actually have a direct association. We usually dig up the bed by the street about this time of year in preparation for planting marigolds. It is presently full of weeds but for some reason I was averse to digging out the many buttercups because they all look rather jolly; hence the title.

Pleased you like it.
