[/Hi  Jason,I liked the chords and harmony, but I'm Brazilian and the
Bossa Nova rhythm you didn't get it. I don't play very well, but as a
 Carioca, I can tell you that you should hear more versions of the
 Song. It was composed by Jobim, and he would also play it slowly,
 in  jazz style,  but it still had that Bossa Nova swing. Get loads of Brazilian
 music  and just listen, even in other versions, more popular ones and I
think you'll eventually get the Bossas Nova spirit. The original version
 is this one

and this is Jobim playing the song on the piano and you can hear the
quite well.
