Those unfamiliar w his composing and re doing of other works in complex assymetrical meter should totally check his stuff out , the annual musical Christmas  cards are a treat but the other stuff is so fun , tongue in cheek ie he doesnt take himself too seriously ie this maple leaf rag for example

He makes a lot scores available for free and I'll likely buy his book of JS Bach inventions those   things are rad

Cheers for sharing that! Can't wait for him to try his luck at these   ;D :

And yes, his Bach is pretty good, too; I'm especially partial to the 6th and the 13th.

If you could refrain from posting clips by... he who SHOULD not be named, that would be great.

Huh? I really like the man's interpretation of that piece, why exactly shouldn't I post clips of his?
Copyright infringer? ...Unashamed self-praiser? ...Trump supporter?
Now I'm really curious to know what he did to earn thy wrath.

Because he is a self proclaimed expert in theories he made up. He is also a rather arrogant person.

I almost wish you had said "Because he wants to make America great again" instead...
The first reason is bad enough, to be sure, but arrogance is one thing I just can't stand, regardless of who displays it.
Don't worry, I don't want to give anyone a heart attack, so I'll make sure not to post the guy's stuff anymore.

Just to clarify - we're only talking about the weirdo with the ponytail.

Johns Maple Leaf wasn't too bad - curious and interesting, however for me it just felt like it a was a record skipping ahead a half beat every 2 seconds.

I like the concept though as it involved a lot of practice and was a new twist on the piece.

We're both members in the same pedagogical group on Facebook. Nothing he has ever said ever contributed to anything. He is one of those "everyone's wrong but me". I remember one encounter I had with him, in which he claimed that fast octaves are completely irrelevant for a musician, if said musician doesn't have good sight reading,  which is nonsense if you're a performing artist rather than accompanist.

Yes, I actually bothered to visit his website and he seems to be full of bollocks. Hell, I needed to go no further than the "About" section to realize that, what with all that crap of his being the only enlightened one to whom Bach's tempos have been revealed in an "epiphany", not to say a word of his over-the-top self-praise in other areas, as well as the emphasis he places on how "popular" he is on YT, and in such high demand as a teacher that he "barely has any more time to practice or record videos"...oh yeah??? Wow...

What I found even worse is that he's apparently making bucks off it all, reminding me of another disgusting unmentionable out there who's also making money off the hard (and unpaid) work of the members of an online piano sheet music community, including some of the works I myself have posted there.

WHO?!? I didn't know that. I know 'he who shall not be named' also took free versions of music from IMSLP and changed the margins, and called himself an editor and arranger - the guys a pompous #$%^.

Oh yes, a certain Marcel Mombeek. Like Mr. Ponytail, he's also set up his own website where he claims his "network" has presence in three continents and that they're experts in recovering hard-to-find scores. And they certainly are good at it, perhaps a little too much considering that I doubt any of the scores he sells on that website of his has not been previously downloaded for free.

The little f***er has gone as far as transcribing additional info on the scores we post; verbatim, he doesn't even make an effort to be subtle, so that if, say, you posted today some rare piece by Rachmaninoff, and added that only one recording of it has been made thus far and that it was made by the label "X", your score would very likely appear within a couple of days at most on his site with curiously familiar info about there being only one recording of it to this day, and that it was made by the label "X"...underneath the price tag.
