I've been experimenting with film composition. Here is a short work that explores a martial arts sequence.

Very evocative.

Are you working with live improvisation with film, pre-composed music, a mixture of both?
Made a Liszt. Need new Handel's for Soler panel & Alkan foil. Will Faure Stein on the way to pick up Mendels' sohn. Josquin get Wolfgangs Schu with Clara. Gone Chopin, I'll be Bach

Neither, I pictured a martial arts duel in my mind and this is what came out. The improvisation was built in layers, the whole process took under an hour. Once an idea comes to mind, one has to act quickly! All it takes is one knock on the door and the music takes a different path haha.
