LTCL do you think my program is okay?
on: January 16, 2020, 12:18:44 PM
Hi, I'm building my program for my LTCL and I wanted to get some opinions on my repertoire.
I'm planning on doing:
Chopin Ballade no.1
Debussy Estampes
Mozart Rondo in Am K511
Bartok Allegro Barbaro
It comes to about 39:40 and they all require completely different techniques, but I'm worried that my program is geared to much towards the Romantic/modern era. I know the Mozart is Classical but with the chromatic harmonies there are definite Romantic elements to it. Other than that, I think I'm happy with my choices and just want some input

Seems like a good balance to me.

I think it's a balanced and yet fairly demanding programme. Good luck!
