Works based on Haydn?

does anyone know any more contemporary works that may have used the music or style of Haydn as a starting point.

really all i can think of in this category are older, the Brahms variations for orchestra or two pianos, and the Ravel menuet.

did anyone else take up a project for piano, using haydn's music as the basis?

Stylistic touches  and character nods to Haydn w Kap'd groovy little sonatina ie program note excerpt
The Haydn analogy applies to the single-movement Sonatina, Op 100, not only for its relatively modest demands on the pianist, but also for its touches of humour, like the one bar of Andante following the development section that momentarily recapitulates in the ‘wrong’ key.
