Please find here below the 2 following Variations:

Variation 4 reminds of a Baroque dance ‘Passepied’, a use of forth notes suggest something not too fast, rather elegant, noble and without precipitation:

Variation 5 is the first of the hand-crossing variations. The Goldberg were written for the harpsichord with 2 manuals, where the hand crossing is relatively easy to do, but on the piano it’s much more difficult.. :

Good morning,
Here are 2 following variations :

Variation 6 is 2nd Canon ‘at the second’, the follower begins the interval of a second above the first. When the voices cross, it creates creating dissonances for split second each time. And these dissonances create some how a feeling of a nostalgia even though we are still in G major.

Variation 7 has numerous short trills and appoggiaturas that make it very refined and delicate; for me it's delicious music, always makes me smile

Hello Piano Street friends,
Hope you're well and healthy.

Here are the next 3 Variations: 8, 9 & 10, hope you'll enjoy listening and maybe learning a little more about them:

Variation 8 is another hand-crossing variation. This is relatively easy to perform on a two-manual harpsichord, but quite difficult to do on a piano. And another difficulty is to avoid it sound ‘angular, with angles’. I imagine in the left hand a flat stone thrown on the water.

Variation 9 is a canon at the third, very harmonious, kind and peaceful.

Variation 10 is a four-voice fughetta (a small fugue) , with a four-bar subject. Fugues is the most complex contapuntal composition, and Bach was famous for not only writing but also improvising fugues up to 5 voices!

And I'll never tire of listening to that four-part fughetta, one of my favorites without a doubt.
