Mic positions for orchestral instruments

Came across this and thought it may be of interest to those that do recordings.

It is a research project with Universität der Künste Berlin and Nagoya University of the Arts.  An interactive website that allows you to hear what effect changing the mic position has for recording a number of orchestral instruments.
