Any good resources for Iranian/Persian piano sheets?
on: May 21, 2020, 08:21:58 PM
Hello, everyone! I am a new member here.
I was wondering if anyone, in their travels, has come across resources for classical Iranian/Persian piano music. I am very interested in exploring some non-Western music: Turkish, Persian, Arabic.
Google has only proved moderately helpful thus far. There are some books available from Amazon, it seems, but also quite sparsely; and since I am paying for a membership here, I may as well lean a bit on your expertise.
All advice/conversation welcome! Hope you are all staying safe.
Cheers!

Hiya, I did a quick search for you in Farsi and found the following website:
https://notkade.com/
The website might be hard to navigate as it’s in Farsi but google translate can help.
Are you Iranian yourself?
I highly recommend Javad Maroofi’s pieces

Message me if you need any help navigating the website etc.
Enjoy!
