Question for those at a level where they've encountered or learned /played these
What were your thoughts on the pieces , I love them , the acclaims and prizes are certainly merited and well earned ,but there cool good music in this modern space that is torture to learn and work thru ,then there's some that isn't (my time w the Amram sonata taught me that ,loved the first mov ,hated working thru it, third mov was sorta cool but way less of a headache to learn etc.)

Just want to get some meaningful chatter going

This thread isn't about Chopin, so I do not have a lot of confidence it will really go anywhere


Who knows maybe it may evolve and give me a chance to poke fun at Schumanns awful concerto .
