Hey,
my technician installed a Life saver system last week.
I was checking the RH on different spots close to the soundboard over the last week.
In some spots it was down to 38% with a temperature of 29°, in others it was up to 55%.I was a little bit shocked because this is quite a big difference, isn’t it?

Now I’m asking myself if the system is properly installed.I found a model from Dampp Chaser how it should be installed in a Steinway B. My technician preferred another arrangement which you can see in the photos below.
The two holes in the Humidistat on the right side, which should be free, are also covered by a wood block. There is only ~ 1 cm of space between them.

Maybe I’m overreacting and everything is alright but I just want to be sure and ask if everything is installed in the right way.

You can compare to recommendations from Dampp Chaser installation manual:
