I played the Chopin Polonaise before starting the revolutionary, and it was not delightful at all so I recommend trying to play Chopin's Fantasie Impromptu, and it may seem hard but people honestly over exaggerate it and make it look harder than it looks, and I played it when I was 12 and played the polonaise after that and I was pretty fine with it when I was like 13. Once you start playing those pieces, it will get really easy to play pieces harder and higher in level, like Chopin Scherzo, Ballade, Liszt La Campanella, and more. I am currently working on Chopin's Ballade no.4, and it is definitely harder than the other ballades and any piece I have played. And Liszt La Campanella is not too hard to be honest.
