ATCL Repertoire: Choice of Pieces
on: November 20, 2020, 05:15:43 PM
Hi all! I'm preparing for my ATCL with the following repertoire:

- Beethoven - Sonata No. 5 Op. 10 No. 1 in C Minor
- Chopin - Impromptu No. 3 in Gb, op. 51
- Liszt - Leibestraum no. 3 in Ab
- Poulenc - Suite pour Piano in C

I know I'm not covering all the eras of music but I feel the above are really diversified in their own way. Would this be considered a "balanced and well planned" programme? Also, I'm tilting towards picking Debussy's La plus que lente as my 5th piece in case I'm running short on duration. Any and all suggestions are more than welcome!

Thank you!

Your repertoire seems good, and it's good you chose a 20th century piece too. I'm just sure they'd want to hear some Bach as well... maybe one prelude & fugue from WTK I or II?
