Best way to sell a Baldwin SD-10???
on: November 21, 2020, 01:13:38 PM
I have a nice SD-10, 9' grand. This was inherited, and I do not have a place to keep it. What is the best way to see such a unique piano?

Most important: get it tuned! And evaluated by a piano tech
No one looking for this type of piano will be serious about buying it if it has not been serviced. If you need a piano tech you can use ptg.org and search by ZIP Code for one in your area
Clean the exterior and soundboard of dust. If you need to clean the strings, use a clean, dry cloth ... no oil or polish. Keep your hands off
Consider piano mart as a selling platform— they are well respected and have a escrow service so that the buyer and seller are both protected from fraudulent sales.
Include pics of interior and exterior. Include serial number, yr of manufacture and month of tuning.
