Bartok Two Romanian Dances

Anyone done this one before?  I've always avoided it because it sounds hard AF, tho I do really love this piece.

Yes, I did it before his 6 Dances. It does sound hard but it's not terribly tough, I like pieces like that :)

I've only ever played the first one, but not the second. The first one wasn't that hard.

I've only ever played the first one, but not the second. The first one wasn't that hard.

Yeah, mostly the second one looks like the nightmare.

No, I just mentioned it was the very first one I did, and it depends which version you have experienced, there are harder ones that duet with the violin (which you could do both parts on the piano). If you just do the normal piano solo one it is just straightforward.



 I heard it as a midi many years ago and didn't know about the famous 6, i thought it was an interesting peculiarity to mention since most would do the famous 6 before this rather obscured one. Do you have any specific questions about the piece?
