Question about Liberace's warsaw concerto arrangemnt
on: December 21, 2020, 04:00:16 AM
Hello. Wondering if anyone whose familiar with actually playing Liberaces music can answer my question. Its in regards to liberaces solo version of the Warsaw Concerto. I actually found sheet music online SCRIBD that has one of his piano books published by (Happell & Co) its in the key of F major, D minor
Im so happy I bought it and have it but then all of sudden it dawned on me. Anytime you hear it on a cd or casette, its written in Gb Major (Eb Minor)
Did he use to play it in D minor. Surprised a published version hasnt even published it in the key he always plays it. Can someone let me know. Maybe at the very beginning he played it in this key.
Appreciate it!
