Song by Chopin
on: February 04, 2005, 12:09:11 AM
Hi all

Ive been teaching myself piano for the past year, Im ok, mainly in the styles of the blues as I love it so much, I do also love classical but do not know much about it, only the basic universally known tunes among the global population such as fur elise, moonlight sonata etc.

Im looking for a specific name of a song by Chopin, Im not sure what its called but it has very strong chords, and sounds quite dark....

if any of you happened to see the documentary about Ray Charles (My Idol) after he died he played a bit of it..... I would really like to know what it is so I could play it.... thanks if u can help

regards

- Jon

wel in the documentary Ray Charles is talkking about how he used to alter the music at his music school for the blind, and how he always wanted to add stuff to it... and he says ''I would be playing Chopin like this...'' then he immediately plays some chords, then he plays it again but changes it.... Ill record the sound and upload it here for you :)

Yep, this is prelude op. 28 no. 20. Hats off to dj who spotted it without even hearing the sample! :o

Best wishes,
Bernhard.
