Been getting pretty obsessed with Rachmaninoff recently! Here's a recording of the 2nd Sonata that I made a few weeks ago. Hope you enjoy it!

...and WHAT a work! It's unfortunately rather overshadowed the coposer's first sonata but is it any wonder?!...

Really? I'm not an expert on Rach but I always thought it's the other way around (everyone tries the 2nd and too few tackle the 1st)!

Yes it's more played than the 1st sonata. I should definitely learn the 1st sonata one day but too busy with other things for the time being!

Great playing!

Thanks!

Bravo!

Sensitivity and gusto.  A very fine performance!
Made a Liszt. Need new Handel's for Soler panel & Alkan foil. Will Faure Stein on the way to pick up Mendels' sohn. Josquin get Wolfgangs Schu with Clara. Gone Chopin, I'll be Bach
