Less famous Scriabin works
on: March 03, 2021, 11:19:27 PM
Hey all 👋,

It's unfortunate how Scriabin so many unknown masterworks like his Fantasy op 28, Polonaise op 24, Allegro de concert,... Would anyone be able to suggest some more pieces that are less famous but still very Scriabin. I tend to like his "louder" works but feel free to suggest any.

Thanks in advance,
Leeky

He has many pieces that seem to be less well known than, well, the most famous ones. Several opuses of Preludes, Morceaux, Nocturnes, Poémes, Mazurkas, Impromtus, Etudes etc etc, some are in his youthful tonal style, others are in his later mystic style. Many of them are worth hearing.

Fantasy in b minor! Far too underrated. I'm practising this right now.

Brilliant!  Just a hint at the works AS would come to have created.

If my docket weren't pretty full of Scriabin I'm just pulling together, this would be at the list.

Regardless, I will look forward to at least reading through this relatively soon.

Thanks!  Never knew this piece existed!
