Moderna Vaccine
on: March 18, 2021, 06:36:14 PM
Hi all,

Anyone care to share their experience with this? I will share mine.

I received the 1st dose 2 days ago. I have 10 side effects, some of which are pretty unpleasant.

My heart rate is 104 and occasionally gasp for air. My R.N. wife says that's not too bad.

I am a little dizzy and have a mild headache. However, the body aches are somewhat intense. The chills seem to come and go. Naturally, my arm is a little sore.

I cough occasionally and am more tired than usual. Today, both my hands started tingling.

That's about it, Joe.

P.S. They say that the 2nd dose is worse. Not looking forward to that at all. Waiting to hear back from my doctor and see if he advises me against it. Hopefully, I will feel better in another day or two.

I had no reaction at all to the first dose, not even a sore arm. I was very surprised since the flu vaccine gives me a similar reaction to what you had with the Moderna.

Be sure you ask your MD if  low dose analgesics would help with the symptoms... and drink a lot of water

Take care

Ugh, sounds scary. Hope you do better soon!

I will take the vaccine when it becomes available to my age bracket. I'm sick of this Corona sh*t.

Please let us know if they advice you to take the second dose or not!

They tell us how many millions have had the vaccine, but not the numbers who don't want to take it.

Hi all,

I'm feeling much better today. Not 100%, still kind of tired. My doctor said these symptoms are not that frequent but they do happen. He didn't say not to get the 2nd shot. Told me I could take a Tylenol if I wanted.

Thanks, Joe.

I turned down the Astra Zenica vaccine when it was offered. I don't want this crap in my body and I am not in the slightest bit worried about a flu virus and nor should the majority of healthy people be.

It's not just a flu virus. It kills people at a much higher rate than the flu. It's important to take the vaccine even if you or other healthy people have no reason to worry for themselves. When the population is vaccinated, by extension those to whom the virus will be deadly are more protected, and less people who need intensive care for Corona will take up space in the hospital, freeing up resources for people who have other medical emergencies. It's an awful virus and an awful way to die.

I likely had it last spring and it's the worst sickness I have ever had, without even experiencing breathing troubles. As a healthy 27-year-old I was sick for over 5 weeks, and it took 3 more months before I felt like myself again.
