Girl from Ipanema - Bossa Nova Piano
on: April 05, 2021, 06:17:05 PM
There are not many recordings of latin solo piano, probably because playing the overlapping rhythms with only two hands is rather difficult.

But here I tried to make a solo arrangement of the Bossa Nova Classic "Girl From Ipanema" by Tom Jobim. The second chorus also contains some improvisation and a reference to another famous bossa nova song by Tom Jobim.

I'm looking forward to your feedback!
