Cd cheet music
on: February 05, 2005, 10:25:14 AM
Hello everyone,
I'm not sure if this belongs here so I do apologise in advance.

I have recently discovered cd sheet music ( although it has probably been out there for a while).
Has any of you used them already? What do you think? What edition are they; is it any good? Whould you recommend the CD's to others?

I think the price is really good for all the sheet music you get so I'm thinking of buying a couple but I wanted to get a second and third....and fourth :) opinion to it.

Sarah

I have bought their Franz Liszt Edition and French Composers Vol. I Edition. The versions are fine, all of them are usually Dover editions. So, unless you are looking for heavily edited and refined, perfect scores, then CD Sheet Music should serve you well. Beware of the Franz Liszt Jewel CD Case, though. Mine started to break all over the place and chip like crazy.

Stay away from the first few releases like Mozart, Bach, Schumann complete pianos works. All later releases are quite satisfactory. I use them mostly for listening to the CDs with the score. I have all the piano stuff including the comprehensive exercises CD.
