Very solidly played - and memorized!

How long have you been working on this? It needs a bit more flair and character - the tempo is on the slow side and you are somehow giving all of the notes equal emphasis and importance, which is impressive but kind of makes it sound like a practice version.

However, I find your playing really high quality, which makes me convinced that you will be able to perform this very difficult piece even more convincingly.

I learned and memorized it in a month so it’s new. I am part of a piano group that meets virtually every month, so this is this month’s piece. My recording equipment tends to even out the dynamics so there is not much I can do about that. I started playing the piano again during the pandemic which has definitely helped keep me sane.

A month??? That’s damn impressive. I wish I could learn a piece to that level in only a month.

A very beautiful piece, I don’t listen to much impressionistic music, but I certainly enjoyed listening to this. I agree with thirtytwo2020, your playing is very solid and  seems quite flawless, especially for a challenging piece like this. I can tell the recording equipment is the one blending all the sounds together. I agree some parts are a little slower, but I can’t wait to hear it in a couple of weeks!

Where does one find piano groups that meet virtually once a month? That sounds great!

As for the video, I don't have much feedback beyond what has already been given regarding tempo and more variety in the dynamics. Very good, solid job!

Thanks @ivorycherry, @lelle. The piano group I’m a member of is DFW Amateur Pianists, located in Texas. We have a youtube channel where we post vids.
