Pfizer vaccine
on: April 19, 2021, 05:32:21 AM
Hello all,

I received my second dose of Pfizer yesterday and I am quite ill today. I had a 102 fever and chills this morning and now I have a headache and sore throat. Did anyone else who has gotten the Pfizer vaccine have some kinda serious side effects like I have? I'm just curious since one of my friends was ridiculing me for being so sick, while he didn't feel a thing when he got the second dose. (some friend huh) I don't care at all though. I'm willing to do anything at this point to be rid of this coronavirus garbage. Anyone want to share their experience with Pfizer (if applicable?)
You miss 100% of the shots you don't take. It's solid advice tbh.

Some people do get side effects from the vaccine such as the ones you mention:

https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/different-vaccines/Pfizer-BioNTech.html (see under Possible Side Effects)

If you are worried, I'd suggest to contact a doctor. It's better to contact a doctor once too much than not doing it when you really should have.

Technically, these are counted as mild side effects and shouldn't be a cause of worry. They should subside in about 2-3 days maximum.

About ten hours since the second Pfizer "booster" shot.

I really had been trying to cut out my 2400 mg quod diem.  And did so. Plus vitamins.  Eating/cooking pretty well.  Obviously hyrdation and restful sleep, but I try to do that anyway.

On the off chance there's an MD (or a DO:  same training) here, what's behind the apparent incongruity of trying to build a strong immune system?

I'm just guessing lowrer entropy, to focus the attention upon the simulacrum of the virus.

I pre-emptively took the day after off, mdds

You should be feeling much better now....

In general, the booster dose (2nd vaccine) elicits a more pronounced reaction from the body's immune system. This is so because of our body's earlier experience with the first dose of the vaccine, now resulting in a much more robust immune reaction with the second dose. Frequently translates to more "side-effects" like higher fever with chills or more pronounced body aches, fatigue and headaches.

I knew it!  My essence has been tainted by impurities.  I can feel it in my teeth, and I sense that dark hands are driving me forward into an unspeakably terrifying abyss.

I must purify my blood immediately!

I had similar symptoms following the Moderna vaccine, second dose.  First dose was nothing. IMHO, haven’t a few vaccination effects beats Covid-19 by a LOT.  There sill be a booster in the fall to address the variants; I will take that as well.

Let's face it, the corporatocratic government has already been downloading all of that data for years and selling it to China to keep them from declaring war on us.

Also, I feel better now as my immune system was able to work it out. In fact I was feeling better by Tuesday morning.

It was a joke. Bill Gates won't download microchips into your brain. And the vaccine wont modify your genes. You can read a bit here about the general gist of how mRNA vaccines work: https://www.health.harvard.edu/blog/why-are-mrna-vaccines-so-exciting-2020121021599

Anyway.  Getting back to the topic.

I just had the second Pfizer vaccine Wednesday, Bill Gates and ancient aliens and crystal skulls with microchips and GMO notwithstanding.

The day after was OK:  fatigue, chills, probably a slight fever (I couldn't find my thermometer).

However last night, at about 0200, so roughly 36 hours after the vaccine I woke up unable to breathe through my nose (probably what woke me up), with horrid congestion, just like a flu or a cold.

Managed to get back to sleep somehow, and feel fine today, at almost 48 hours past.

I did follow the recommendation to not take ibuprofen ("Advil") prior to the shot, but I did allow myself to have 1600 mg the day after (I think that's about eight pills in the OTC formulation, or two of the prescription-strength that I use for persistent muscular soreness, taken about eight hours apart).

Other people I've talked to reported no real symptoms, but I figure it's a neutral or positive thing to engage the immune system.  At least I know the immune response was functional.

Lol yes, back on topic...

Your experience waking up in the night sounds spooky- sort of irrelevant but it reminds me of the time a few months ago I randomly couldn't swallow for 3 hours one night- I think it came from eating some walnuts which I'm sorta allergic to.

Glad to hear you're feeling better though.. in the end I think we're all realizing having the vaccine is so worth it.

To you as well.  Yeah, your night experience of having been unable to breathe (or the sensation of it) sounds pretty ghastly, although in your case due to an allergen.  That would be a difficult one:  nut proteins or whole components are pretty much everywhere in packaged goods.  I have very fond memories of gathering walnuts as a child, but it's a hard nut to crack.

I think now, at least where I am, it's almost a badge of honor to have had The Vaccine (in whatever brand name).

It's a good conversation starter at the bar (or, juice bar, or whatever).

The equivalent of being a sharp dressed man, pace ZZ Top!

So you confirm that you're out of your goddamned mind?

Can we still agree that European (or British) anti-GMO activists and anti-vaxxers are out of touch?

Read this to see what you can learn from data:https://www.amazon.com/Everybody-Lies-Internet-About-Really/dp/0062390856

That was super interesting.  You can track diseases by seeing what searches people make about symptoms and medications, and watch them move to different cities.

The side effects you mention, as unpleasant as they are, would appear to be within the norm. In fact, it’s a good thing you’re reacting. It means the vaccine is working. Also, the second dose normally elicits a more robust response from your antibodies than the first!

China doesn't need to buy data. They are quite capable of mining it for themselves!
