Exotic Shipment Once Lost Back On Course
on: May 07, 2021, 01:14:05 PM
An all points bulletin.

For those privy, shipment on this order began back in 2007.  It was rumored to
have been lost in the English channel, but wherever it was, this great supply of exotic bananas and peaches that originated in Patagonia, is back on course, as reported by
Commander Fritz J. Reiselshmidt.

A friendly warning.  It has concurrently been reported that Godzilla has been sighted
travelling through the Western passages where the shipment is to make anchor.

That is all.

I think it's pretty clearly fanfic drawing from *Master and Commander* and *Gamera vs. Zigra*.  With elements from Conrad's *Nostromo*.

Very promising work, it seems.

Update from Captain Reiselschmidt:

Though I am happy to report the majority of the shipment has been preserved, in 2012 we encountered strange territory with glistening galas fulminating upon the waters.  The ship travailed until finally one-third of the bananas jettisoned into the silver sea.  This particular banana is famous for its aristocratic flavor.  Understandably, we feared the rest of the fruit would be wasted in the future to Fortune's whim.

After the loss sometime later, the peaches that rested beside the bananas, rather than being thrown into the sea as the first, vanished without cause, as if they never existed.  Whether the apple cider we were drinking was spiked we cannot, nor dare not say.

When the ship's piano was ruined from the watery incursion, a female shipmate threw herself overboard, red hair and all, and we have not heard from her in many days.

Here is a much deserved sonic coffee break , pings and patters of Takemutsu and Messiaen, dare I'd say a very un-Adams like it unexpectedly neoimpressionist for Johns usual output but here listen !

Ahoy, Visitor!  Forgive me long fermata.  Adams, yes, our founding father.
It was palatable enough at first as I extracted the music, slowly.  Deeper into the waters, however, it was turning bitter and I had to quickly withdraw my rearguard to the redcoats of the 19th century.

You must be prophetic.  I was indeed drinking coffee as I listened.  8)

New Developments from Captain Fritz:

The winds picked up as we entered the waters of the Khafalti bluffs, and we were
thus in excellent spirits, and in such spirits unfortunately consumed much of
the cider.  The views regaling, we swapped some ancestral lore by the moonlit
promontories.  Eventually the winds picked up at an almost frightening pace, and
here, in the midst of this maelstrom-aspiring force, I take my pen in trepidations of
breeches that would durst be sucked asunder.

I express my fears that the inland denizens could be attacked by brigands that have remained hidden for a planned collective ambush in this critical time.

We can report the shipment remains safe.
