March of the Hobgoblins

As my technique has been getting better, I've increasingly been able to play with the overall texture of the sound.

I sense that this opportunity to play on acoustic pianos has provided inspiration to do more creative exploration at the instrument.  Good stuff.  The work you have been doing is showing its benefits.
Made a Liszt. Need new Handel's for Soler panel & Alkan foil. Will Faure Stein on the way to pick up Mendels' sohn. Josquin get Wolfgangs Schu with Clara. Gone Chopin, I'll be Bach

Thank you, quantum! Yes, my playing is getting more fluent, and I'm able to use a wider variety of touches somewhat consistently.

Keep experimenting like this! There are some interesting sections and I particularly liked the part from the three minute mark.

Ever considered notating your improvisations? It's pretty good stuff.

Thank you! Yes, the quiet right hand octave jumps and broken octave section have some potential.

Thanks for your feedback! When I improvise, I keep wondering if it actually sounds good to anyone but me, so it's very nice to know that you liked it :)

I have found that my improvisations have been getting rather better and more complex over time. I might consider notating some of it in the future, if and when I decide to compose.
