It is fun to observe the new greens as they dance.

Made a Liszt. Need new Handel's for Soler panel & Alkan foil. Will Faure Stein on the way to pick up Mendels' sohn. Josquin get Wolfgangs Schu with Clara. Gone Chopin, I'll be Bach

A delightful piece of your evergreen impressionism. It is surprising how much creative variety can be generated by two simple asynchronous note streams, one in each hand, or at least the illusion of such. Music for me is all about magic and illusion, with impressionism being, not a trite representation of external reality, but an embodiment of its effect on the individual consciousness. Thus this piece, while triggered by the sight of growing plants, actually depicts what takes place in your brain consequent to such triggering. The distinction seems critical to me but no doubt thousands would disagree.

Ted, thank you for your insights.
One of my musical mentors would agree with you in regards to magic. A fantastic teacher, adept at articulating the technical workings of music expressiveness and the inner mechanics of how we as musicians can vividly evoke emotion from our listeners - at the end of the day, it was all about creating magic. That was the goal, to take music and make it into magic for our listeners.
