Volcano - Piano Improvisation
on: July 02, 2021, 11:42:28 PM
This is by far my most fiery improvisation on the piano, and it's one of my favorites so far. I've been trying to experiment with texture, and had been doing a lot of frilly stuff lately, which I was getting tired of. So I tried to imitate an erupting volcano instead!

Well done!  I'm hearing influences from Ravel and Liszt.

You seem to be developing technical fluency at the instrument to where the ideas in your head flow with more ease into the fingers.  The benefits of your studies in repertoire are showing here.

There is a unified idea for the entire piece and you maintained intensity throughout.  The textures you chose worked together well. You also appear to be enjoying playing this beautiful piano.
Made a Liszt. Need new Handel's for Soler panel & Alkan foil. Will Faure Stein on the way to pick up Mendels' sohn. Josquin get Wolfgangs Schu with Clara. Gone Chopin, I'll be Bach
