Love them actually just hate having that amazing sound of them playing their own arrangement in my mind then chasing it.

Wip finding has basic nuts and bits and bolts are all mostly there
This was a first real run attempt by memory , a case where I have the intellect part memorized but needs more total volume of play thru while it sets in, too much brain background noise still for me to focus on finer aspects of playing I can do more of w score out

Lewenthall is one of my favorite pianists of the middle part of the century ,super interesting history I suggest folks read on, this is one of his more I introspective  arrangements (his Gliere Russian sailor dance from red poppy paraphrase is insane)
But it has that dark brooding aura he was known to  have

Just wanted to get this out for a grade so I can wrap it up next spring and let it simmer /mature but given it's Christmas season the "what child is this part of it" makes it wholly appropriate to put on out there this time of the year , I could have done retakes till got what I wanted but it defeats the purpose of showing my teacher where it sits now realistically

Rough as may seem I am  glad to have it where it is by now (the texture is misleading in the challenges it presents , mostly in voicing and hands distribution)

This is a realization by Kyohei Imaizumi

holy Katz ! A huge compliment and confidence boost ! Thanks for weighing in!
I absolutely love his playing (Liszt especially of course as he was particularly famous for and with his cape wearing escalades), but this piece is super satisfying to play , I'll get for info to you directly , look for an email or Twitter dm etc shortly from me :-)

Thanks again Ronde de sylphes!

Poems of Ecstasy – Scriabin’s Complete Piano Works Now on Piano Street

The great early 20th-century composer Alexander Scriabin left us 74 published opuses, and several unpublished manuscripts, mainly from his teenage years – when he would never go to bed without first putting a copy of Chopin’s music under his pillow. All of these scores (220 pieces in total) can now be found on Piano Street’s Scriabin page. Read more
