Greetings - you know me, I don't (almost ever) ask for music, but I've heard the most incredible transcription of this glorious organ work for the piano:

...and I can't find the sheet music (commercially available or otherwise). I don't suppose somewhere in the plethora of musicians we have here, if anyone has the sheet music for the Zhukov transcription? I've listened to it repeatedly and can't get enough of it and I don't even think any other transcription has the gravitas his has.

No problem - thank you for trying, much appreciated. I genuinely think this transcription is amazing. Anyway, in the meantime - if you've ever wanted to see someone play 2 pianos at once... you might find this interesting.

Hello. I believe I also posted some time ago on the forum about a transcription for the passacaglia and fugue in c minor. On my journey, I just didn't really feel that inspired by the d'Albert version. It felt to me a little empty and didn't capture the sound of the organ (like the Busoni toccata and fugue in d minor or the Liszt fantasy and fugue in g minor). With that in mind, I looked for other transcriptions and found that recording of Zhukov playing his own. I looked forever for sheet music to no avail. However, what I did find, was another pianist who had devoted significant effort to making his own with similar dissatisfaction with the available transcriptions.

Anyways, this new transcription is available now for purchase and was only published, I believe, like 2 years ago. Check it out! It is available at https://www.valeurajoutee.eu/en/

Here is the video of him playing it. I recently learned it and it is such a joy to play. It is difficult, but very much worth it.

I'll have a look at it, but first I just want to check the IMSLP sites just to see. There are 6 versions for piano, and strangely enough - that version sounded very similar to one I saw on IMSLP.

I could be wrong, but I just want to check first.
