Need advice on the Wild Horseman by Robert Schuman.
on: December 22, 2021, 09:09:54 AM
I need an advice on the Wild Horseman by Robert Schuman. I've been practicing this piece for about 8 months (started practicing piano 2.5 years ago). I still can't make this piece sound decent.

I tried slow practice, tried HS and HT practice, both at different speeds and tried to leave this piece for a month. Regardless all that, my solid chords still sound mushy and the entire piece lacks crispness and spirit.

Any suggestions are welcome

Hi
I am not able to play the link you provided— I receive a trisnble with a line through it.  I have not tried the download function, as I do not download from unknown links.  I don’t know if others are having this pfoblfm.

He saved it as an MP4 - which is usually a video file.

He needs to save it as an MP3.

The original video is an attached MP4 file. I just added the recording as an MP3 format. The reason I uploaded video in the first place was to give everyone better impression of my posture, hand movement etc.

I will check for the options to upload the media to some streaming portal to make it more convenient for you to watch it.

Based on your feedback I realized that embedding a video in the topic put off people watching it. Therefore I uploaded the video to Youtube and re-created this topic under https://www.pianostreet.com/smf/index.php?topic=68558.0
