Happy New Year / Predictions?

Seems like things kind of go downhill each year, except for Trump not being President anymore.




Any predictions for 2022?  At least it's an even number. 

I'll predict...
The pandemic will decline but still be present by the end of 2022.  We'll have three more "big" mutations that will become concerns.  Rapid testing will always be something that's coming up soon, but never really appears.

Forest fires, hurricanes, tornadoes... That's fairly standard though.

The Epstein wife will die, but that's not much of a prediction either.

1) Covid masks will still be worn at end of 2022
2) We will need a 2nd covid booster in 2022
3) S&P 500 will close 2022 between 4766*70%=3336 and 4766*130%=6196

I really couldn't make any predictions about major political moves originating from the Biden/Harris presidency.  Student loan forgiveness is a possibility, but I'll believe it and anything else when I see it.

And the Buffalo Bills win the Superbowl!  Of course!

I'll say... Biden will have some health issue.  And then later Trump too, so the 2024 election won't be who you would think now.

Some kind of Watergate-level thorough breakthrough in the U.S. leading to ignominy while spurring fractious elements to yet more street-level battles.  Either on the political or the corporate campī.

I'll add....
The usual school shootings, something with cops and African Americans, some kind of guy in power with womanizing, etc.  That's not much of a prediction though.
The little civil war idea is interesting.  I don't think that side would actually follow through with it though.  More like talking and complaining, gathering weapons and things, but not actually fighting.
Feels like the bigger events are missing though.  Maybe nothing big happens in 2022.
