on: March 19, 2022, 03:30:01 PM
Piano Street statistics (as of the time of my typing) concerning replies per thread:

Average number of replies per thread for the entire Pianostreet forum is 684200 / 63217 = 10.8.

The board that has the most average replies per thread is the “Anything but piano” board with 166216 / 6592 = 25.2 average replies per thread.  17 of the threads here have over 500 replies.  The 3 threads here that have the largest number of replies are:

Last post wins!!! – 13,796 replies – still extremely active thread.  I predict that this thread will remain active for many years to come.

What’s on your mind now = 6,786 replies – still very active thread

Pictures!! – 3,055 replies -The last post here was 5.5 years ago.  I guess pictures are no longer a novelty?

The board with the least number of average replies per thread is the “Audition Room” with 46003 / 7572 = 6.1 average replies per thread.

The least number of replies per thread is 0.  I am not sure what percent of threads have 0 replies.  ;D

Haha.  Actually, Piano Street tracks number of posts, number of replies, etc.  Why?  So someone like me can analyze them a little.  ;)  Having a math background, I couldn't resist using these numbers in a post.   ;D

I love stats as well. Glad to see this place still alive and kicking. I feel like forums have become a lot less active with the rise of social media over the last 10 years, but this place will always have a special place i my heart when it comes to piano.
