Piano Street statistics - replies per thread

Piano Street statistics (as of the time of my typing) concerning replies per thread:

Average number of replies per thread for the entire Pianostreet forum is 684200 / 63217 = 10.8.

The board that has the most average replies per thread is the “Anything but piano” board with 166216 / 6592 = 25.2 average replies per thread.  17 of the threads here have over 500 replies.  The 3 threads here that have the largest number of replies are:

Last post wins!!! – 13,796 replies – still extremely active thread.  I predict that this thread will remain active for many years to come.

What’s on your mind now = 6,786 replies – still very active thread

Pictures!! – 3,055 replies -The last post here was 5.5 years ago.  I guess pictures are no longer a novelty?

The board with the least number of average replies per thread is the “Audition Room” with 46003 / 7572 = 6.1 average replies per thread. 

The least number of replies per thread is 0.  I am not sure what percent of threads have 0 replies.

Haha.  Actually, Piano Street tracks number of posts, number of replies, etc.  Why?  So someone like me can analyze them a little.    Having a math background, I couldn't resist using these numbers in a post.

I love stats as well. Glad to see this place still alive and kicking. I feel like forums have become a lot less active with the rise of social media over the last 10 years, but this place will always have a special place i my heart when it comes to piano.

It would be nice if one could filter out certain threads.
I would filter out:
Last Post Wins
Second to Last Post Wins.

They fill up the most recent reply list, and I'm just not interested...

It would also help if posts which contravene forum guidelines were removed. There are other places for 'robust adult exchange' which actual adults can avoid.

Unfortunately, there don't seem to be any rules against the LPW-type threads being on the anything but piano board, if that's what you're referring to.

As I mentioned on STLPW, I agree that this needs to be implemented.
