Does anybody know the author of this easy study?
on: May 16, 2022, 02:15:51 PM
Hello,
sorry for my bad english but I am writing from italy.
I need you help for this problem: more than 50 years ago, at the beginning is my piano studies, I learned an easy study which I stll remember by heart (I send in attachment the first page). Unfortunately I've lost the
original score and I don't remember the author. Can anybody help me? I made a lot of search but with no results. Many thanks.

Could it be something by Czerny?
Unfortunately there are a lot of simple studies like this written by innumerable composers/teachers who did this sort of thing. So maybe it'll be difficult to figure out.

Hello, many thanks for your reply. Indeed I've been looking at all (I believe) available scores by Czerny, Bertini, Duvernoy, Heller ... without results. I'll check again but probably my teacher adopted some other not so known composer.
