What's the deal with the times? [Bri asks]
on: February 13, 2005, 04:05:19 AM
Haha, Bob, I copped your subject tag  :)

Anyway, when I post a message, the time is always wrong. You know, where it says "Posted by (blank) on (date) at (time)"

Did the server's time get all screwed one time and was never re-set? Or is the time set according to another time zone maybe?

This question isn't of any real importance. I'm just curious is all.

Peace,
Bri

tsk, tsk, tsk.... Nils is going to ask you take that down if he already hasn't....

I use those [Bob asks] things to filter my notifcations.  It works really well.  Nils asked me to take it down though because it wastes space and is only useful to me.  I waiting to hear back from him about some things and then I'm going to change or take down all those tags.

My clock is fine.  If you don't log in, it's the pf time (GMT I think).  You can change your personal time settings in your profile.

Thanks Bob!

Nope, haven't heard from Nils. I just did it as a joke.

So it is a time-zone thing. Leave to a brash American to assume that the time must be "wrong."

Peace,
Bri

I personally think the world should just revolve around me.  I'm afraid I'd get dizzy though, esp if I stared at it too long.   :P
