Worth Playing at a Senior Recital?
on: June 30, 2022, 06:36:12 PM
Hey all! I just was wondering if this would be worth playing at a senior recital along with La Campanella, Claire De Lune, and an original piece by me. This is meant to be non-stuffy and not classical, personally because I can only handle so much classical. Thoughts on this piece?

By senior recital, do you mean final year undergrad? In that case, it would depend on your university and you would ideally ask your professor if it's okay.

If you're concerned about whether it'll go well with the audience, Jarrod Radnich arrangements tend to be very popular. ;D For your senior year recital, it should be fine I think. If there aren't any set requirements, I don't think there should be a problem.

Why not? :D Go for it - as long as there aren't any rules against playing something like this, I think you can do what you enjoy! It's part of you as an artist to appreciate this music, after all.
