Pretty, with a strongly melancholic tinge. Did it have its origins in improvisation ? Do you work from beginning to end or do you invent little bits and put them together later on ? Few people actually discuss their precise methods of creation, which I think is a pity as the varied ways of going about it are interesting.

Part of this piece did come from an improvisation. The rest was done by putting bits together from beginning to end.
