Anyone played Philip Glass 'Trilogy Sonata'?

I'm scheduled to play this next weekend, as well as 'Mad Rush'.

Hoping it's going to be an audience-pleaser, but have a lurking fear that some people may find it boring..... Does anyone have experience in playing this composition live?
