Valse triste (my composition, sheet music)
on: May 22, 2023, 11:12:02 AM
I posted video of me playing this ages ago, in a music store, but this is a more recent recording, with sheet music.
It's a light, salonny piece, and perhaps Chopin op 64/2 and Cziffra's Valse triste were in the back of my mind.

Very pretty and well done waltz
Sorry to be that annoying guy, but please respell the g naturals into f double sharp in bars 5 and 9 and analogous places, as this represents the harmonic functions and voice leading you are using much more accurately
I would also consider a c double sharp in bar 30, and b sharp in bar 32 to better represent the harmony.

Thanks, and you are completely right about the accidentals! There are some other places as well...
In my defence, I used a very old pdf I had in my gmail and didn't think to proofread it
I wrote it some time around 2001 and I wasn't all that careful about such issues until one of my teachers drew attention to it in another composition.
