Good afternoon all! Almost didn't get a video for this week, but I accepted a bit of a slower tempo. Good exercise in slurred notes and detached notes again. Also interesting harmonic tensions in the second half. I also noticed that other youtuber's recordings didn't have the detached descending notes toward the ending of the 2 halves. As always let me know your thoughts and I hope you enjoy!

The notes were generally accurate. I have some things I'm wondering about - why did you stop for several seconds after the first repeat? I also think that the ornaments should be more spontaneous rather than sounding like triplets. The phrasing is fine, but not optimal. I think it's still a reasonable recording.

Thank you. Sometimes I play things too rubato and when I don't have a metronome I take more liberties. I'm not quite sure how to make my ornaments more spontaneous. Do you have any videos I can watch that may be able to explain what that looks and sounds like?

I don't have any videos on the ornaments. It's really something that improves with time, just something to be aware of. It's not a bad thing that you make it sound like a triplet, just make it a faster triplet (such as lasting for a fraction, say, a half or a quarter of the beat, rather than the full beat).
