Help me chose a piano sound.
on: September 01, 2023, 06:38:37 AM
Hello everybody,

This post is not exactly about instruments per se, and it's also not about classical music.
That said, I'm undecided about which piano sound to select to play some jazz on my digital piano.
So, I recorded the 3 best VST candidates, each playing 2 different jazz tunes.
I uploaded the wav files on my google drive and here are the links:
piano A tune 1

piano A tune 2

I would greatly appreciate if you would listen to these tunes and give me your opinion about which piano sounds best.
Each one is a different pianos and also a different kind of VST, but I left them undescribed 'cause I'd just like your gut feelings.
Also, the sound is recordered raw, no EQ, no compression, etc, so the volume is a bit uneven.

I'll really appreciate anyone's time and expertise.
