Very tight hammer of an upright piano. How yourself fix it.

In this video we see that the hammer don't back fast after it's stricking to strings there. May been 'the hammer flange' was set very tighten there.

1To begin need unscrewed the hammer's screw 'the hammer flange screw' using a screwdriver to remove the hammer from the action of the upright piano.

2 Next, need gently loosened the hammer from side to side by holding the hammer flanges in his left hand and using his right hand to move 'the hammer shank' of the upright piano there. This created the required gap between 'the hammer butt' and 'the hammer flanges' of the upright piano there.

3 To improve performance, we can applied a small amount of machine oil to the hammer outside 'the hammer flange'. This helped to further reduce friction. (It need made seldom only when the hammer tight even after the loose it from side to side.)

4 Finally, the hammer was securely screwed back into the upright piano action, and it now functions correctly.

5 However, additional adjustments may be necessary for perfect performance there too (the capstan of the key,the pivot pin of the 'jack of the wippen' has swollen there, spring on the 'jack of the wippen' is broken or missing, ' the butt spring' has broken and detached from the 'hammer butt flange' or the string loop on the 'hammer butt flange' has broken, 'hammer butt flange' or 'the wippen flange' is broken, causing the parts to be skewed and rubbing against each other, hammer gets stuck on a poorly adjusted felt mute)
