Troika fingering: need help
on: February 19, 2005, 07:00:36 PM
Hi,

Has anyone played this beautiful piece? It is "November" or Troika , from "The Seasons" by Tchaikovsky.

I have an edition without fingerings in the right hand staccato part. I am not sure the one I have chosen will fit at fast speed .

By the way I have a beautiful (and very creative) recording by S. Rachmaninoff.

Thanks in advance

Can you name the bars you're uncertain with?

Mostly bar 58 (at the end of the first right hand staccato run, imitating the troika horses running , I suppose)

But i will appreciate any hint for bars 48-58

Thanks

I'm not sure if I found the part, the fingerings are pretty straight-forward - so I scanned some parts from my edition.

Hope this helps.

p.s. I love the piece.

Thank you very much!!!

That's what I wanted.

If you want the Rachmaninoff rendition in mp3, tell me the e-mail adress to send it to you.
