Hello there,
I would like to know, what are your thoughts on Ray Alston's Piano Practical Editions. I have came across them several times on IMSLP (Ravel's Sonatina / Gaspard de la nuit, Scriabin's 4th Sonata, ...) and I like them, but I am not really sure, if it is a good idea to play directly from them or to have them only at hand as an inspiration. (If you know them a bit, you might have recognised they change quite a lot of things in notation in order to make it more comfortable while reading and playing the pieces.)

I look forward to your opinions!
