Mozart K 400
on: December 03, 2023, 02:49:13 AM
Such a pity that this piece is so underrated. Maybe it's not good to advertise pieces on this forum, but I'm just saying, from such a popular composer, this piece is virtually unknown. In fact, the only place I can find people talking about it is a youtube video about it with 10 comments. Gosh, and I thought K 533 was underrated. I don't know why, but there's such a magic about it, esp with the chord progressions that are so far ahead of its time, while being classic Mozart. Maybe it'd be more popular if it was a complete sonata and could stand alongside all the others. I'd probably say there are only four Mozart sonatas better than this one: k 533, k 576, k 322, k 333
Not saying that other pieces are not underrated. I'm sure there are thousands (maybe millions) of composers out there who have no name because they do not do it as a profession.

Uh, so do you have anything to say about it? Is it just me who finds it superior to 80% of Mozart sonatas, to 70% of Beethoven sonatas, to 90% of Haydn sonatas, and to 50% of Schubert sonatas?
