Hi All,

Is anyone on here using the latest version of Staffpad? https://www.staffpad.net/#StaffPad

I'm interested to hear and see how it transcribes audio into notes on the stave.

Best,

Rob

Cool app idea. I noticed cost $0. And it’s been out 4 years. I’m curious why. Are they still in phase 0 of development?

It doesn’t transcribe, you have to transcribe. But it makes that process easier. It’s there with transcribe (seventh string) in aiding one with the process of transcription.

Update: $90. It’s good idea but $90 is overpriced. If it were $20 would be valuable.  It’s good to start your compositions but anything fancy will require sitting in front of the desktop or laptop for a professional touch. One can start mXML format here then export it to favorite notation software. I have the assessment that it’s not worth more than $20 for the convenience of writing the first iteration of one’s arrangement, $30 if really pushing it. But $90?
