Today I learned that the  :'( (cry) emoji doesn't work.
I also learned that said emoji can be put into posts by copying it's address and making it an image:

Schubert is kinda overrated
Schubert is underrated in my opinion, no matter how popular he already is. He's my 2nd favorite composer. Maybe it's just cause my teacher says she doesn't like Schubert. Just my opinion.

All piano stuff:

You can't say his music is overrated without hearing this, of course. I don't know anyone who has.

Classic Schubert. What a beautiful, mature piece.

Melancholy and has quite a finale feel, appropriate for Schubert's upcoming death.

Another popular sonata. Barren and dry at places but always somehow both emotional flowery in these locations

I've been really hung up on this one as of late.

If you're wondering, I really admire Uchida as a pianist. And yes, I do hold the unpopular preference of major over minor. ;)

If you've listened to all those pieces then I can't really say anything else.

Today I learned that my ampersand button doesn't work, and that getting a laptop keyboard fixed is ridiculously expensive.  >:(
Edit: apparently none of my number buttons work.

I learned this a few days ago, but apparently Schubert was not a handsome guy. His friends called him "Mushroom" because of how ugly he was.

Again, more "this week" than "today" but the last performance of one of his orchestral pieces that Ravel heard was Daphnis and Chloe, and he cried afterwards saying he still had so much more music in his head- his brain injury stopped him from composing.

The ancient Romans taught that mixing dog pee and mud together and then rubbing the mixture on warts would make them disappear. They also said that if your dog died, then rubbing its blood on your house's outside walls would keep away evil spirits.

Were people allowed to take plane rides, or could they only travel through land transportation?

Seemingly they were allowed, but really expensive.

Edit: about three minutes and 16 seconds into the video, it shows that planes cost 100 coins per minute, which seems unaffordable for practical purposes.

Yes.

One minute of travel on a ferry or on low-speed rail costs 10 coins, one minute on high-speed rail costs 25, one minute on a bike costs one, and one minute on a bus/tram costs five.

How do you earn coins in this game then? Do you just start off with a set amount of coins and then you are only able to spend them?

Start with 2000, and you can earn more by completing challenges from the challenge deck. However, if you fail a challenge, you can't take any transit for the next 30 minutes.

I recommend giving it a watch (at least the first episode), as they explain all of this stuff.
