Why do people say that Chopin's Op 25 9 is an easy etude?

Why do people say that Chopin´s Op 25 9 is an easy etude?. To me is pretty difficult to play at tempo considering all those inversions and jumps in both hands.

I haven't heard anyone say 25/9 is easy. While it is the shortest of the etudes, that doesn't mean it isn't hard. Chromatic is the 2nd shortest and is debatably the hardest.

They just find it easy, not too much to it.

Perhaps this piece has much of a ragtime structure, 50 years before it's developed as a style in and of itself.

I think people say it's EASIER, than some of the others.

It's an "easier" one compared to most of the others, but it's still an advanced piece.

Like if someone who plays Für Elise and Clair de lune and now really wants to try a Chopin Etude asked "which is the easiest" the answer would be "they're all beyond you right now".

Fur Elise is an easy piece.  Clair de lune is not easy to play properly.  Chopin Butterfly Etude is one of the easier etudes. The bass hand is stride and the treble hand fits the span and reach of the right hand.

Doesn't mean it's an easy piece.
The only "easy" etude from Chopin (not including the trois nouvelle etudes) is op. 10 no. 6, and even that has some musical difficulties (to an extent).
