Omg how did Chopin Ballade 1 defeat Schumann Toccata op 7? The toccata is waaaaaaaaay harder to play.

And nice with the post-voting stats! Definitely cool to see. Sadly I missed the, I think, two last rounds due to real life getting in the way :(

I really admire your commitment to bringing this tournament to its end.

To use transitional's explanation...
I picked what I thought would win. And there is a lot of Ballade 1 = really difficult believers on this site so I feel it will be a tough matchup... I feel like the Toccata is harder but the Ballade will pull off a win by 1 vote or it will be a tie.
They even guessed the margin right.
Still surprised it actually happened. Ballade no. 1 had beaten Winter Wind and the Hamelin Cadenza by just one vote each. The LAST thing I expected is for a much harder piece to fall the same way. Then again, this is Musical Madness. ;)
On a similar note, honestly every single piece left feels almost unstoppable. Ballade no. 1 has defeated it's three opponents, including Schumann's Toccata, by 1 vote each. I've pulled out Cziffra's Grand Galop Chromatique, and it beat Mazeppa in a landslide. Islamey is doing Islamey things. Don't even get me started on Feux Follets lol.
And nice with the post-voting stats! Definitely cool to see...

I really admire your commitment to bringing this tournament to its end.
Thanks! :)

Feux Follets vs. Islamey is tied! :o
Also, I'm making the official tiebreaker the # of members who have voted for each piece.
